Yesterday Sandy Sieber and I went took look for the Long-billed Curlew at Nisqually and managed to find a pair of them. We saw that at the very end of the boardwalk at about 4 pm, just as the tide stared to come in. They were very spectacular! It was a very active day for peeps, with large mixed flocks of Western and Least Sandpipers wheeling about. There were some Semipalmated Plovers and Greater Yellowlegs as well.
