Subject: [Tweeters] Fork-tailed Storm-Petrels in Rosario Strait on Saturday

Hi folks,

On Saturday morning, I saw a small flock of about 15 Fork-tailed
Storm-Petrels from the San Juan Islands ferry, on the west side of Rosario
Strait. They were headed south, flying directly and with apparent
purpose. This was the day after a bunch of big storms rolled through the
region, and I suspect they got pushed into inland waters by the storms.

Sorry for not getting the word out earlier - I was in the islands with
limited communication. But it's a reminder that it's worthwhile to get out
and see what the wind might have blown in, especially after strong storms.
