Subject: [Tweeters] Advice re: Feeding/Water

We'll be leaving on vacation for 2 weeks in September. I have a bird feeder
up and a bird bath that I clean/refill every morning. Is it best to take
the feeder down and empty the bath before we leave? Hate to do it,
especially the water, but would rather do that than leave a dirty, possibly
disease-sharing bird bath for 2 weeks. Guess I could fill the feeder before
I leave and just let it be emptied. Please share your thoughts.
Oh, and then there are the hummingbird feeders! Perhaps I just need some
moral support - taking all the feeders/water away may be hard for me, but
best for the birds' health?
Thank you!
Suzanne
