Just wanted to thank Diane Yorgason-Quinn and Michael Hobbs for helping me feel confident in my siting of the Kingbird here in Wedgwood last week. See comments below:

Western Kingbirds are uncommon but not rare through to late-September.

There's really almost zero overlap of the dates of sightings in the state.


I think also having seen them in Eastern WA helped as well. Process of elimination worked too.
