Good morning Tweets,

This morning brought an all-too-quick visit by a Warbling Vireo to my yard near Lowman Beach in West Seattle. I only had time to grab my camera and take a quick photo sequence through double-pane glass, so the photo isn?t great, but it?s enough for ID (and as always, I would welcome an ID correction). Hopefully it?ll be back for longer once I set up my ?office? on the outside deck this afternoon. Yesterday morning I had a nice Caspian Tern flyover at Lowman Beach. Both it and the Osprey who?d flown over a few minutes earlier had had excellent fishing success and were taking their prey off with them. Looking at the photos later, I was interested to see that the tern was banded, and reported the band on the BRNW Banded Bird website. Lack of double-paned glass made these photos a bit better!
