Today we had a heavy movement of vireos through our property, there were times this morning when there were a half a dozen birds in our water mister at once. The majority were WARBLING VIREOS but I did see two CASSIN'S VIREOS and a HUTTON'S VIREO. Other species here today were WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE, YELLOW WARBLER, BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER, and EVENING GROSBEAKS. Our new yard bird was a very vocal RED-SHOULDERED HAWK in our alder forest, bringing our yard list to 142.
