As a Seattle out- of-towner busy with my own personal problems, I've been wondering about the outcome of the Montlake Fill mitigation situation. I haven't heard anything about it on tweeters for several months.
I'm supposing that no news is bad news. Did WSDOT and the" Beavers From Mordor " (Army Corp of Engineers) prevail with their idiotic plans for "improving" (not) the fill with ill conceived mitigation notions? Is it in progress now?
I think it would be helpful, even if it's bad news, for tweeters to hear what's going on. Would anyone care to share?
