Hello Tweets,
This morning I hiked out to Lake Janus north of Steven's Pass. This hike
starts in Chelan County, but you hit the Pacific Crest Trail in a mile or
so and are in Snohomish County from then on. I was very pleased to have a
male Williamson's Sapsucker fly in with several Red-Breasted Sapsuckers
(apparently non-hybrids). This is the first record of Williamson's
Sapsucker in Snohomish County.

Other than that things were pretty ho-hum. Yellow-Rumped Warblers were
everywhere at the lake, which made finding other warblers difficult.
Nashville have been reliable here in last August/early Sept in years past
but there were none today.
