In support of all the people, birds and wildlife in the greater Pateros and
Mazama, WA area, we hope all birders will join us at the upcoming "Mazama
Hawk Migration Festival", weekend of 9/11-13.
Despite the fires, our 6th Annual North Central Washington Audubon
Society Hawk Migration festival will be held, 9/11-13. Visit North Cascades
Audubon website for details, speakers and events. www.ncwaudubon.org/.
Slate Peak, at 7200' will be our destination for Hawk Viewing.

Lodging is available at the Mazama Country Inn and various B&B's around the
Methow Valley, and Winthrop for sure.
Headquarters for the festival will be at the "North Cascades Basecamp" in
