Spent today birding around Potholes Reservoir in Grant County. There was a nice mix of fall passerine migrants with a good movement of Townsend?s Warbler, empids and a male Black-throated Gray Warbler, perhaps the same one that Matt Yawney had here three days ago? Found Stilt Sandpipers, 1 at Perch Point and 5 at Lind Coulee. Also at Lind Coulee was a Black-bellied Plover in mostly alternate plumage. Several Bonaparte?s Gulls were around, with a mix of adults and juveniles. Tried to find a Franklin?s or Sabine?s but no luck.
