A little over a week ago, there was a report of some live Common Murres along with many dead ones on the beach at Ocean Shores.

According to a friend, Beacon Pest Control at Ocean Shores will take in sick and injured birds and care for them until they can be transported to a wildlife rehab center. She said that the Murres being brought in do not show any signs of starvation and they are surviving and doing fine with care.
