Went out fishing for the humpy's today or pinks if you like ,launched boat from Langus Park at 10:00 headed towards jetty Island and among all the birds today saw a great egret and a Brant around the north east ?side of the island but not on the island. thought that was pretty odd to see a Brandt this early all by himself, when I approached him by boat to get a picture he only flew 100 yards and landed on the beach again (look like a juvenile) .I suppose he may have been tired from the windstorm.
Then a great egret hanging out with the blue herons across the river from him. My brother thought it was an albino Blue heron but I assured him it was not. The storm must've pushed them in?
At first light at the Muckilteo boat launch by the ferry a flock of around 30 terns flew over heading west being very vocal I wonder which ones they were?
If the egret or Brant are more than odd and someone wishes to ask questions feel free to email me and I took a couple bad pictures with my iPhone but you can see enough detail to know what they are.

PS the fishing was not as good as the birding.

Bird On !!!
