Made it out to Juanita Bay Park again - 4th or 5th time in just over a week.

I'd told Virginia Morrison about the snipes we saw on Sat so we thought we'd go out since the weather was still good.

Trumpeter swans, Common Mergansers, Hooded Mergansers, RN Ducks, etc but sadly no snipes ;-(

However, standing on the first dock Virginia asked me to do my Virginia Rail imitation and sure enough one came out (left hand side facing water) and provided a great view of feeding several times. There was no return chat from the rail , but we felt satisfied enough to leave for Honey Bear. What a fun sighting - seeing a Virginia Rail with my Malheur guru, named Virginia!!

We had some good laughs along the way!! She is an excellent navigator!!
