was reading peeters and peeters book on california raptors and learned northern harriers are ground nesters. i never knew that, and on the off chance a few others out there didn't realize that fact, i'm passing the info along.

makes me wonder even more how much things were shaken up on fir island when they started implementing all the plans to return the fake pheasant country cornfields to the brackish slough that wylie is turning into now.
