I spent the day in Lincoln County and was able to find some nice birds.

Mill Canyon:
> PINE GROSBEAKS 4 ? On Mill Canyon Rd about .3 mi east of Green Cyn Rd.
> Red Crossbills ? large flocks everywhere
> Pine Siskin
> N Pygmy Owl
> Great horned Owl

Davenport ? checking for White winged Crossbills in Spruce ? unsuccessful
> Merlin

Swanson Lakes Wildlife Area
> Rough legged Hawk ? everywhere
> SNOWY OWL ? seen from Schuster Rd, 1.7 miles west of Swanson Lake Rd, south of
> road on fence post ? near a trailer house. This is the general area where 2
> birds wintered last year
> SNOW BUNTINGS 4 ? Flyover while watching Snowy Owl
> Short eared Owl
