Hello Tweets,

I just passed by the Fill on 520 in the passenger seat, and I decided to check out Union Bay as it whizzed past. Hundreds of coots on either side of the bridge, rafts of more distant waterfowl - and then, on the distant opposite shore, I saw four round white shapes that I had about 5 seconds to examine. I wondered if they were buoys, but I don't remember seeing four white buoys in a row along the shore. I believe that I saw the neck of one bird right before they all disappeared behind trees, so I'm pretty confident that they were swans. Most likely Trumpeters, but you never know!

I won't eBird the sighting because I'm not 100% certain, but if you're out that way it might be worth a look. Swans are always nice to see!

Good birding, Joshua Glant
