Jim was away from home when the tornado touched down in Battle Ground, but it missed his place. The hail marbles are glowing right now in broken sunshine.

Subject: [Tweeters] LaFrambois Road, Vancouver Lake area of Clark County CHIPPING SPARROW

Tweeters,

I braved the scattered thunderstorms and headed to Vancouver Lake, Clark County to see if anything had been blown in. Wow, Vancouver Lake has certainly grown over the last several days! Although I saw no unusual waterbirds, I did find one CHIPPING SPARROW in a large flock of sparrows which contained 7 sparrow species.

Keep your eyes and ears skyward unless you are in a hailstorm.
