?Just a quick reminder that the Toppenish Christmas Bird Count will be this Saturday. The count will take all day, although you are welcome to leave whenever you like. If you are interested in participating, please let me know by shooting me an email at magicman32 at ... as soon as possible. We can always use more counters! We will be meeting at 6:30-7:00 am at the Branding Iron in Toppenish for breakfast. Here, I will assign you a route with one of our great leaders. As you will be birding for the entire day (that is, if you chose to), bringing a lunch and beverages is highly recommended, warm clothes are also a good idea as it could be a bit chilly, though it's looking like it's going to be a pretty nice day. After the count (at around 4:30 or 5:00 pm), we will all be meeting at Andy and Ellen Stepniewski's house for a potluck, where will we warm up and recount the day. It should be a great day of birding fun, and I hope to see you there!
