Hey All,

After seeing the Yellow-Throated Warbler in Longview with Steve, Bruce, Ted
and another fellow from Edmunds whose name I can't recall, I went to Puget
Island to see if it harboured anything interesting. Highlights in no
particular order below:

AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN (only one) soaring above the Southwest part of the
Island and the Columbia
SPOTTED SANDPIPER (1): at intersection of Cross Dike Road and Welcome Slough
DUNLIN (50): Cross Dike Road
Merlin (1): at intersection of Cross Dike Road and Welcome Slough
Peregrine Falcon (2): Cross Dike Road

The river was high, but I didn't encounter any closed roads on the island.

Good Birding!
