Spooked a Coopers hawk off the ground along the road of my walk this
morning. As I approached the site, the dark lump of prey turned out to be
Pileated woodpecker. I walked on and on my return I spooked the hawk off its
breakfast a second time.

Late in the afternoon I decided to walk back and pick up some feathers only
to find the carcass gone and only a few feathers scattered here and there.
