The strong storms during the week brought many RED PHALAROPES, BLACK-LEGGED
KITTIWAKES, and LEACH?S STORM-PETRELS to the beaches and coastal lowlands.
Single FORK-TAILED STORM PETRELS were seen at Boiler Bay and the Necanicum
River mouth. Single RED PHALAROPES were noted inland at Philomath and in
Eugene.

On December 12 a RED FOX SPARROW was at Millicoma Marsh near Coos Bay. The
MACGILLIVRAY?S WARBLER on the east side of Coos Bay continues to be seen. A
HARRIS?S SPARROW is now coming to a feeder in Cutler City. On December 13 a
BURROWING OWL was at the South Jetty of the Columbia River.

On December 13, 14 TREE SWALLOWS were at Ridgefield NWR. A REDPOLL was seen
there December 16. A BARN SWALLOW was seen December 13 at the Tualatin NWR.
Two BARN SWALLOWS were at Salem December 10.

On December 15, 20 BARROW?S GOLDENEYS and 100 COMMON GOLDENEYES were off
