While I was waiting to photograph a White-throated Sparrow that I had just noticed under my backyard feeder, a Common Redpoll flew in with an American Goldfinch. This happened at about 10:10 am, 19 Dec, in the greater Matthews Beach neighborhood of Seattle, about 3 blocks south of Meadowbrook Pond. Keep an eye on finch flocks.
