After someone (now, who was that?) alerted us to the possibility, we've been watching the yard and this morning, like a Christmas present, we were rewarded by a common redpoll at the thistle feeder. This is near N. Seattle College, so keep your eyes open for a pretty darn good yard bird (FOY for us, that's for sure: and just in time!).
