At least eight birders had the birch tree and Lucile and 26th staked out from 9:30 a.m. until noon. No finches of any kind were seen in the tree or the neighborhood. One birder went around to the Dearborn school and saw no sign of any finches there either. So no Common Redpolls this morning.
