Thank you for the many tweeters who've helped me learn more about Roughies.
After 4 1/2 months of consistent searching I finally saw one at River
S-unit today at 1:30pm near post 6 (light morphed).
Was perched 20 feet from my car window and then it dove onto prey and I got
to watch it devour something.
Was magnificent.
Now that I've seen it up close & personal and can't believe I ever mistook
a Red-tailed for a Rough-legged.
Rookies.
