I second the thanks, as I'm sure do many others. Here in Yakima there are
many places birded by a few that are off limits, such as Yakama Nation
areas in the Toppenish vicinity: Tule Road, Zimmerman's, and "Feel Free to
Hunt" spots. I hope that some day birders might, with good behavior, be
able to get birding permits to access such areas. As spelled out in the ABA
Code of Birding Ethics, https://www.aba.org/about/ethics.html , please
check carefully before entering any area where there could be doubts about
whether birding or even entry is specifically allowed. It could help decide
all birders' access in the future.

I also hope that someday eBird will implement a graphical notation that
could be added to hotspots & personal locations signifying restricted
access.
