Hi Tweeters,

I just spent 15 minutes watching an ACORN WOODPECKER in Kelso. It sat in a
deciduous tree opposite 1915 Alma Drive. This is a narrow neighborhood
street without any parking pull-outs, but it is a short walk from its
intersection with Kelso Drive with wide shoulders and gravel pull-outs on
the north bound side. Kelso Drive is the frontage road going south on the
east side of I-5 from exit 39. This bird has been in the area for a number
of days as I got a call yesterday that it visited a suet feeder in the
neighborhood a couple of days last week until the suet ran out.
