I saw a report on ebird yesterday that an anonymous birder saw 20 red crossbills near the State Capitol. Somehow this seems highly unlikely to me. I know that we can get crossbills in Thurston Co., but in downtown Olympia? Thoughts?

Greetings Jennifer, I live in North Olympia and see good numbers of Crossbills in Spring typically April and May. Here?s a link to a video of a flock taking advantage of a platform feeder.
