We were lucky enough to see the great grey today in Delta BC - you do have to be escorted out to see the bird - some days you get better views than others. Here's my pic from today:

It's well worth the trip up and the $5.00 entrance fee. Lots of birds and areas to walk around. My tracker showed that we walked 4 miles so if you do go bring comfy shoes.
