Hello all,
With 21 folks out in the field and 2 feeder watchers we started 2015 with 111 species - smashing our former high of 104! Highlights:

RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER - found in Dixie by George and Ginger
Trumpeter Swan - 7 at McNary NWR
Great Egret - several
Pileated Woodpecker
Northern Goshawk
Golden Eagle
Barn, Great Horned, Screech, Pygmy, Long-eared and Saw-whet Owls
BLUE JAY
Canyon Wren
Tree, FOX, and White-throated Sparrows
PINE GROSBEAKS - several seen up out of Dixie
Lesser Goldfinch - at feeder in Dixie
Evening Grosbeaks are scattered all over now - had 60 fly over our yard this week.

Missed Northern Shrike - if you were in WWCo. today (1st) and saw one please let me know.
