Hey Tweets!

I saw that Bob Flores is doing a big year in Clark County this year, an figured I'd post as well that I've got similar plans this year in Mason County. I'm reluctant to call it a Big Year, because then I'd have to chase birds, which I do with spectacular infrequency. I'll say that Mason County will be the object of my birding affection this year.

Www.masoncountybirding.blogspot.com is where I'll blog the sucker. There's just an introductory post there for now, but I'll try to get pretty pictures in as the year goes along. Shouldn't be hard out there.

Oh! And FOY bird: Mallard. I think that's a first. Second was a Great Horned Owl, which was very fun indeed. My year actually started with a coyote, which was just how it started in 2011, the last time I got a hare-brained idea and decided to blog, so... Yay!
