In the springlike conditions prevailing yesterday, I distinctly heard a VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW very high in the blue sky above 172nd in Arlington, in close proximity to Arlington Airport. Heard it way up there but did not have binocs and could not see it. In addition (and I note others apparently posted on it), CBC participant Sammy Catiis saw a GREAT EGRET up at Eide Rd yesterday.
