The Eastside Audubon office received a call today, Thursday, from a woman named Peggy who had a really cool sighting of a very large white snowy owl last night in the fog out by Carnation. She watched it take off right by her car (and she swerved into the other lane to avoid hitting it) and it flew low and slow next to her as it was taking off. She believes they are rare, and really wanted to tell somebody about it.

Her sister is an Audubon member, and encouraged her to call us in case somebody tracks sightings (?)
Her phone number is 425-941-9252 if anybody wants more info (?).

This info was passed on to me by the EAS office. I called her and she gave me permission to put it on Tweeters and is willing to take phone calls. The area she was driving at night was going north on hwy 203 and she was a little south of 124th St.
