Hi Tweets:

Two days ago, on Tuesday 1/13/15, I spotted a beautiful Merlin atop a tall
conifer on 9th just north of 196th SW. It was totally unexpected and very
cooperative. I parked, set up my scope, managed several (20)
digiscoped photos with my iPhone before leaving him in peace. No bands in
evidence.

Sorry for the late post. Now that I report everything to EBird it's easy to
forget to post to Tweeters.
