I spent about 3 hours today at the Goodrich Rd. pond and trail. I first stopped at the bridge over the slough, but not a whole lot going on. Just a couple of HOODED MERGANSERS, 1 BELTED KINGFISHER, and 1 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER flycatching.
The pond was loaded with waterfowl and gulls. Highlights at the pond were;

Northern Pintail 37
Canvasback 1 (female)
Bufflehead 18

Killdeer 1
Dunlin 20
Mew Gull (many)
Ring-billed Gull 1
Western Gull 1
Herring Gull 1
Thayer's Gull 1
Glaucous-winged Gull (many)

I walked north on the trail to the pond by the power line cut. More NORTHERN PINTAILS, and 26 GREEN-WINGED TEAL. The fields hosted 2 BALD EAGLES, 2 NORTHERN HARRIERS, and 1 RED-TAILED HAWK. After going north, I went south along the trail. Other birds seen along the trail were;
Downy Woodpecker 1
Northern Flicker 3
Western Scrub-Jay 2
Black-capped Chickadee 1
Bewick's Wren 3
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
American Robin 13
