Subject: [Tweeters]Stanwood Long and Short Eared Owls

Tweeters,

Drove down from Bellingham Monday Morning to Eide Road in Stanwood. Saw one
Long Eared Owl in a small tree near the parking area. It sat in full view
looking at us from inside the tree. There were at least two Short Eared
Owls flying in the fields. One landed on a tall snag right above the trail
after a Harrier stole his dinner. The day was sunny and lovely.
