If you want to see slate-colored juncos here, there are quite a few at the Wildlife Botanical Gardens in Brush Prairie. Possibly some Oregon/Slate intermixes, as well as (of course) lots of Oregon juncos. Good place to see Pine Siskins, Golden-crowned Sparrows, White-crowned sparrows, Scrub Jays, Spotted Towhees, Fox Sparrows, House Finches, House Sparrows, Anna's Hummingbirds, and most of the local smaller birds. Of course there is a Cooper's Hawk that checks in at lunch time.

Vancouver Lake is the place to see Varied Thrush. And the Bald Eagles there are very cooperative.

I heard a Common Raven at Frenchman's Bar. It was moving downstream while calling very loudly.
