Saturday I accompanied Merlin Sellard on our 2nd trip to Stanwood.

We found 2 LEOW?s at Eide Road, then looked unsuccessfully for Oystercatchers at Deception Pass where he had seen them before.

Then, from the State Park, we went south, then east, then north to Ala Spit

>From the parking lot I could see 15 oysterdatchers. Merlin walked around the spit and saw a total of 57.
