Hi Tweets - After the fog lifted a bit (around 11 am this morning), and on my second pass around all the fields at Crescent Lake (west of the prison farm) I finally found the lone Rusty Blackbird along the north edge of the southern field (where a road from the NW field comes out). Had decent looks with bins and scope before it flew north into the trees at the southwest corner of the northwest field, where it was relocated later by Jeff Bryant. Many other of the usual suspect birds enjoying the late morning sunshine, including Red-tailed, Cooper's, and Sharpshinned Hawks, in the trees and shrubs around the fields. Later, I had a Merlin on the east side of the Snoqualmie R. downstream of Stillwater.
