While trying for Grasshopper Sparrows at JBLM TA 13 (no luck), I met with Nathanael Swecker, who was birding the area. He found a WESTERN KINGBIRD nest in a snag as well as a nesting AMERICAN KESTREL nesting nearby. We both saw the kingbird harassing the kestrel when the latter flew off a perch.

JBLM Training Areas are closed to recreation from Friday through the weekend, so even if you have an access pass, you shouldn't be in those areas.
