Is anyone in the Kittitas county area (or elsewhere) experiencing a larger
than normal die off of Evening Grossbeaks?

I have found 14 dead birds in my yard in 3 days.

I am taking action to insure that it is not my feeders or birdbaths. This
is too similar to the die off we had a few years ago. Neither the
proximate nor ultimate cause of that event was ever identified.
