This morning along Lower River Rd I found the following highlights. By the way both Vancouver Lake and Shillipoo Lake were dead.

Western sandpiper 10
Spotted sandpiper 1
Killdeer 12
Least sandpiper 70
Greater yellowlegs 3
Long- billed dowitcher 3

Vancouver Lake WMA (across the rd from Shillipoo Lake)
Red-eyed vireo singing

Fazio's Pond on L River Rd
Greater yellowlegs 19
Long-billed dowitcher 1
Great egret 72
Great blue heron 21

Columbia River near Fazio's farmhouse on L River Rd
Caspian tern

Frenchman's Bar Reg. Park ( yes it was good to bird it again)
Lesser goldfinch 3 near residence
Yellow warbler 5
Swainson's thrush 12
Willow flycatcher 3
Western wood-pewee 8
Bullocks oriole 8
Western tanager 1
Yellow-rumped warbler 1
Warbling vireo 2
Black-headed grosbeak 1

On the Columbia River next to park
Ring-billed gull 32
Glaucous-winged gull 2
Caspian tern 1
Mew gull 1
California gull 9
This is the first time in quite a while that numbers of gulls like this have appeared.
