Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday July 16. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

The REDSTART on the North Spit of Coos Bay continues to be seen. On July 13
a SAGE THRASHER was photographed at Ridgefield NWR. It did not remain.

An offshore boat trip off Coos and Curry Counties July 12 found four HAWIIAN
PETRELS, five COOK?S PETRELS, 11 PINK-FOOTED SHEARWATERS, a FLESH-FOOTED
SHEARWATER, seven SKUAS, a LONG-TAILED JAEGER, and 5 RED PHALAROPES.

On July 8 about 20 WHITE PELICANS were south of Rainier near Goble. Four
were on Vancouver Lake July 11. A PRAIRIE FALCON was seen July 12 along the
Columbia River off Lower River Road north of Vancouver.
