Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday July 23. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

On July 20 an ASHY STORM-PETREL was observed about 50 miles west of southern
Oregon. An adult ELEGANT TERN was at Coos Bay July 19.

After nesting dispersal is now being seen. As usual VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS
are now leaving their nesting areas. A WILLET was on Cannon Beach July 19. A
BAIRD?S SANDPIPER was at Jackson Bottom in Hillsboro July 22. An AVOCET was
Ankeny NWR July 19. An IBIS was seen flying over Eugene July 22.

On July 19 a MEW GULL was on Ana Reservoir at Summer Lake.

At Lake Abert July 22 were 1740 AVOCETS, 11,845 WILSON?S PHALAROPES, 1000
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, and three MARBLED GODWITS.
