there is still some space available on the pelagic trips run by Westport
Seabirds during our WOS 2015 Conference Friday August 21st-Monday August
24th. You do not need to register for the conference to be on the boat for
a pelagic trip with Westport Seabirds and their fantastic leaders! Contact
Westport Seabirds directly.

That being said, if you missed the deadline to register for the 2015 WOS
conference 8/21-8/24, and would still like to attend, email me for late
registration for an additional $10. You can also register at Ocean Shores
at the Shilo Resort if you prefer. There are plenty of great field trips
still available to attend, and if you can't take the heat the indoor work
shops are a fabulous opportunity to learn more. The Slater Museum of UPS
is bringing their specimen collection for their Friday work shop.

A little birdie told me there will be a new edition book release, :-), and
new shirts available for those attending. Not to mention free evening
lectures with Dennis Paulson Friday and Stump the Experts Quiz Night, Bill
Tweit Saturday and Westport Seabirds 1970-2015 a history of birds and
people, and Peter Hodum Sunday and Connecting the Hemispheres - challenges
and opportunities in trans-boundary conservation - the Pink-footed
Shearwater.
