The long awaited Second Edition of A Birder's Guide to Washington, published in partnership with Washington Ornithological Society and American Birding Association is currently available for pre-order on the Seattle Audubon Society's website, and Amazon.com. WOS members will be able to buy it in person at the WOS conference in Ocean Shores for the discounted price of $25.00.
Hal Opperman and Andy Stepniewski were major contributors of content along with some 30 members of the Washington Ornithological Society and many additional members and birders who ground truthed each route. Jane Hadley did a brilliant job as editor, sacrificing over two years of her life to this project. This second edition would not exist without her guiding hand.
