Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday June 4. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

The HUDSONIAN GODWIT, LONG-BILLED CURLEW, and the WHIMBRELS continue along
Duckflat Road near Turner. On June 1 a CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was at Cold
Springs Campground near Sisters. That day a KENTUCKY WARBLER was in Bend,
but apparently did not remain. An EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE was reported June 3 at
Indian Ford Campground near Sisters.
A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen June 3 at Pistol River.

On June 1 a WHITE PELICAN was at Yaquina Head north of Newport. Two EASTERN
KINGBIRDS were seen May 30 at the Sandy River Delta near Troutdale. The
first NIGHTHAWK of the season was near Philomath June 2. A SEMIPALMATED
SANDPIPER was at the Philomath Sewage Ponds May 30. On May 30 a CATBIRD was
at the mouth of the Deschutes River.

At Malheur NWR Headquarters during the week were a CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER,
GREEN HERON, two ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS, and two BAND-TAILED PIGEONS. A
CATBIRD was seen May 29 at Page Springs Campground. At Fields during the
week were a BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER, two ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKS, two
LONG-TAILED GRACKLES, and a CATBIRD.
