Tweets - A follow up to my post this afternoon about the Centralia bird(s). I am pretty confident there are 2 YBCH as I have a photo of one perching on the top of a small tree upslope and at virtually the same time had one fly over me and to the west. The bird up the hill kept calling and a few minutes later, "a bird with a flash of yellow" flew into the brush ahead of me with its beak full of something; I assume it was the bird that had flown to the west. Alas, my autofocus was outo'focus so I can't tell for certain it is a second YBCH and so no confirmation of nesting. I forgot to mention there was a male Purple Martin tending 2 juvie PUMA on the utility wire at the same location - interesting, since I believe the nearest water is miles away.
