Tweets, Wed a.m. I found (heard) the YELLOW-BR CHAT as reported by Bill
Shelmerdine and Dave Hayden in the old clearcut at mile post 3.4 up Tietzel
Rd off Big Hanaford Rd. In the vicinity were PURPLE MARTIN and at least two
LAZULI BUNTING. At least one vocal BANK SWALLOW pair was hanging around the
county road maintenance facility near Big Hanaford x SR507, so I had all
seven swallow species. 2-3 RED-E VIREO were singing at Big Hanaford x
Tietzel. Good birding!

The YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT that Bill Shelmerdine found continues on Tietzel
Rd. this evening. I arrived at 5:05pm and heard birds singing, but no chat
song. I spent 50 minutes walking up and down the road, until I heard the
bird sing upslope. I was able to great looks once it popped out. Also seen
and heard were
Purple Martin
Willow Flycatcher
Common Yellowthroat
MacGillivray's Warbler
Warbling Vireo
Black-headed Grosbeak
Western Tanager
