I'm so sad to hear of Idie's passing. She was such a great asset to the community, for many reasons.

Idie was very supportive of my and others' efforts to diversify the local birding and conservation communities.

She was also a great role model for women involved in and/or just entering the world of nature appreciation.

Idie Ulsh will be greatly missed.
